Banks Journal’s Fall ‘22 collection is an amalgamation of ideas that glean inspiration from mid-century contemporary artists as well as the Japanese philosophy of Wabi-Sabi. The ability to find beauty in the imperfections—in that which is raw—was the driving force behind this season. Juxtapositions between playful and mature, hard and soft—this overarching theme is found throughout the range and takes on many forms in print, pattern, and fabrication.
